SIGITE Membership Discount
Please be aware that there is a significant discount on registration rates for SIGITE and/or ACM members. For example, early member registration is $290 and early non-member registration is $340, a savings of $50. SIGITE membership costs $20, which makes becoming a member worthwhile. Unfortunately, the registration system does not allow you to become a member as you register. If you wish to obtain the cheaper member rates, you must become a member using the ACM system prior to registering for the conference.
Registration Rates
Early online registration is available until August 31, 2016. Late online registration begins September 1, 2016 and runs through September 25, 2016. Registration after September 25, 2016 must be on-site. Please note that the registration deadline for authors is August 1, 2016. Paper, lightning talk, and poster submissions that do not have any author registered for the conference will be pulled from the proceedings. Panels must have all authors registered for the conference in order to be published. Attendance at both conferences, the chairs’ workshop on Wednesday, the conference reception on Thursday, the conference lunch on Friday, and any other workshops are included in the price listed. The registration system allows you to purchase extra reception and lunch tickets for people accompanying you to Boston. Extra reception tickets are $60 per person, and extra lunch tickets are $25 per person.

Conference Excursion
This year conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an private excursion on Wednesday evening prior to the start of the conference. Please note that participation in the excursion requires the purchase of a ticket and is not included in the conference registration fee. On the tour, you will board a “DUCK”, a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. You’ll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, while your ConDUCKtor® gives you lots of little known facts and interesting insights about our unique and wonderful city. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s more. It’s time for “Splashdown” as your ConDUCKtor® splashes your DUCK right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, the kind of view you just won’t get anywhere else. The tour will take place on Wednesday, September 30th at 5:00 pm, leaving from the hotel. The registration system allows you to select extra tickets for the tour so that people accompanying you to Boston can join in the fun. More information about this entertaining and informative tour can be found on the conference excursion page. The tour is an excellent way to orient yourself in downtown Boston and plan your activities for the remainder of the evenings.
